Central Virginia Electric Cooperative offers the following programs and services to its member-owners for their convenience. If you would like to take advantage of any of these programs and services, you may contact us by e-mail, by telephone, or by visiting one of our offices.

Security Lights

CVEC can easily provide you with a security light if you have an existing electric utility pole with a transformer. These mercury vapor dusk-to-dawn lights will be there to greet you if you arrive home after dark and let you better see your property late at night.

The Cooperative will keep your security light in good working order and will include the monthly charge on your electric bill.

Please note that our lights cannot be placed in Albermarle County due to the county lighting ordinance.
