Serving over 33,000 members, Central Virginia Electric Cooperative is a
member-owned, not-for-profit electric utility headquartered in
Colleen, Virginia.
The Cooperative serves residential, agricultural, commercial and
industrial accounts in the rural portions of 14 Virginia counties.
Created by the members to provide electric service where it was
previously unavailable, CVEC has been improving the quality of
life since 1937. Today, the Co-op is celebrating 71 years of
services while it continues to provide reliable delivery of
affordable energy to its member owners.
